Catering Warehouse Manager

CATERING WAREHOUSE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Sous Chef

Supervises: warehouse aids 

Job Summary 

Under the general supervision of the Event Production Manager, Silvia Sanchez, the Catering Warehouse Manager is responsible for stocking based off of a predetermined needs list. Also, the Catering Warehouse Manager is responsible for any necessary restocking of product.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend all BEO meetings

  • Maintain Inventory of all flatware, glasses, plates, chafers, linens, disposables etc.

  • Order and check in all supply orders

Accurate and timely stocking of areas

  • Before the events, anticipate any potential stock needs by communicating with the Event Producer and Banquet Captains

  • Follow policies and procedures as well as guidelines set by the Health Department

  • Purchasing food and setting up charcuterie

  • Shining all flatware and shining and wrapping plates for event preparation

  • If additional help is needed with event preparation, letting the Sous Chef know you need 

assistance from kitchen staff or server support 

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

•Ability to track inventory by utilizing paperwork and/or technology

•Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Ability to lift packages weighing at least 50 lbs.

•Must have a driver’s license

•A friendly and out-going personality

•Flexible work hours to include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours

Job type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50/ hour
