Non-Profit in the Spotlight
The mission of the Kailee Mills Foundation is to prevent fatality and injury from non-seat belt use through awareness, education, and community involvement. Since its inception in 2017 KMF has reached half a billion people through its seat belt safety awareness, provided nearly $500,000 in assistance to vehicle crash families, and awarded over $254,000 scholarships. David and Wendy Mills made the brave decision to take the tragic loss of their 16-year-old daughter, Kailee Mills, and turn that pain into a life-changing purpose. After Kailee’s life was cut short due to removing her seat belt momentarily, they knew her story wouldn’t stop there...it would go on to save countless lives through the Kailee Mills Foundation.
