Heights Iron Works & Yale House

Restored over nearly a decade by L.A. Bezanis and Dr. Maria Gomez, the Heights Ironworks complex reflects a commitment to preserving iconic local structures in the Houston Heights. The family, residents of the area, worked with various individuals and entities, including the late Bart Truxillo, Jonathan Smulian, Steph McDougal, the Texas Historical Commission, and the City of Houston Department of Planning and Development, to ensure the integrity of the historical community.
